In 2 Timothy 2:2, Paul writes, "Take the teachings that you heard me proclaim in the presence of many witnesses, and entrust them to reliable people, who will be able to teach others also." GNB
While we were in Shinyanga packing the truck to move our things to Kondoa, we visited a church, on Sunday, where both Terry & Nan had done a lot of teaching. The pastor there, Lucus, took hold of those teachings and has been teaching, not only in his village, but in other villages. They have four small groups, at members homes, each week. When we first went to this church they had the small group of 5 or 6 women, 2 men and 10 or 12 children. On this Sunday in March, there were probably 35 or 40 men and women and 25 or more children. God has continued to bless this church and it's members. Also, Nan's very good friend, Demetria, who helped her do lots of translating during our first term, told us that she is using the material (Heaven is for Women) that they worked together on. Nan taught these lessons in two villages, and she, Demetria, is teaching a women's group in another church now, and the women have affirmed these teachings and has over 20 women each week. Please pray for these Sukuma, although we have left that area, we still love these people and contiue to pray for the work there.
