Coloring Pictures

We just wanted to show you some of the precious faces of the children who come to our yard. Top right is Abdullah, bottom left is Hemk, and top left is Joshua. Abdullah and Hemk were playing at the corner of the road, yesterday, and slowly moved on down the road to our fence. They saw some of the girls who had come early coloring and they were "interested". We invited them in and they stayed for both w-rsh-p and S-nd-y School. The pictures they were coloring were about the week before J hung on the cr-ss. On the back of the picutes were scr-pture portions. Abdullah and Hemk are very M names. Joshua has come many times, both on S-nd-y and Tuesday. It is such a joy to see these children playing, coloring, and just being children. So many times they must work and miss these moments of being a child. Pr-y for the children. "But J said, "let the little children come to to Me, and do not forbid them: for of such is the k-ngd-m of h-ven." Matthew 19:14 We are just "inviting" the children to come!

Play Time

This was just last week, on the left is Earnesti and on the right is Leoni. They are grandsons of the lady who lives across the road. They love to come and play. Often they will stop at the fence just to "greet" us, especially when Terry is out watering. They are very respectful little boys, about 2 years old. On this day while the bigger children were playing frisbee Terry made a see-saw for them to play on. At first they were a little afraid, but then really had a good time. We continue to have between 18 and 20 each week.
Thanks to everyone who wrote about our carrot crop. We are thinking we will try again during our "winter" season, which is coming up in June/July. It may have just been a bit warm for them although we were having good rains at that time.
Speaking of rains, we still need them. Please pr-y with us for the rains to continue. Terry saw some corn just last week and he feels like if there isn't some good rains in the next week or so the crop will be ruined.

Choir

Last Sunday was our first worship time with our choir. They had practiced for three afternoons the week before. The lady in the red volunteered to be our choir leader. This was a definate answer to pr-yer. Please pr-y for more leaders, men and women, and for His ch--ch to grow and glorify Him.

Tuesday Story Time

Here are some of the children who come to our Tuesday story time. This week we were studying the Ten Commandments. As usual we had a picture to color and take home. If you look closely, you can see that none of the children have shoes on. Oh yes, they had flip flops on when they got here, but the minute they get inside they gate they take them off and play in the grass. They have never had grass like ours to play in and they all love it! See the little guy on the far right? He would lay down in the grass and act like he was hiding from me, then peep his head up and grin really big. We are still having about 20 each week, they love coming, not only for the story time, but some small pieces of candy, color sheets, and time to play. Pr-y for these chidren and their homes, for G to lead them to know Him in a real and personal way.
